Whoopsie!

"I fell down a flight of steps and on to the case. When I opened it the violin was in pieces. I was just sitting there on the floor," he recalled. "I couldn’t speak and I couldn’t get up. I didn’t even know if I was hurt - I didn’t care."

No big deal if it wasn't a 1710 Stradivarius.

oh god...that would be truly horrible.
and ya know, he will prolly NEVER get over that.
in 50 yrs, he will still think about that and think "F***, why did that happen?!"
